Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Sound of the tip of a retracted pen being scraped and run over my hand. There is the odd squeak of the plastic against the skin. Some minor processing has been applied to cut the really low frequency sounds (sub 200hz).

A simple guitar gesture played on a blueridge br-63 with old strings, recorded with a zoom h4n about 8 inches away from and pointed at the sound hole, reduced to mono with audacity. This sound was recorded for the purposes of harmonic + stochastic analysis in xavier serra's coursera class, audio signal processing for music applications.

A bird created by whistling. Recorded with a (blue microphones, snowball ice) the sound was postprocessed to make the bird sound more unique, for jungle soundscapes. Used audacity for both recording and processing.
